How to get in touch with our team
We take practical action to tackle climate change, reduce fuel poverty and help business be more efficient. Our Environmental Business Services supports organisations of all sizes to improve their surroundings and environmental impact and support regeneration.
Projects include business parks, town centres and private buildings and our trading arm, Crestra Ltd is involved in insulation and renewable energy initiatives for commercial and domestic properties.
Out in the community, we help to change behaviour and limit personal environmental impact. We encourage healthy eating, walking and cycling, improving the energy efficiency of homes.
Location: Creswell, Derbyshire The area local to the Groundwork head officesis rich in natural and historic assets. Over the years it has been involved in the transformation of a variety of open spaces from the gardens and parks to one of its largest projects at Creswell Crags.
Location: Shirebrook, Derbyshire A former railway station at Shirebrook, close to the town centre, has been fully renovated and restored by Groundwork/Crestra to house six business units. The units will provide an economic boost to the area.
Location: Bolsover & Bassetlaw The refurbishment of properties in the Bassetlaw and Bolsover districts exceeded building standards by using renewable technologies to reduce energy outputs and carbon emissions.
