Groundwork began operating out of Creswell in 1990 and a second Trust launched in Mansfield and Ashfield in 1992. In 2005, the two Trusts began to work more closely together and recognised the potential of merging as one to forge a more sustainable charity. The merger was finalised in 2008, creating Groundwork Creswell, Ashfield and Mansfield which is a registered charity, governed by a board that reflects the areas we operate in.
