We work with people to help them improve both where they live and their quality of life.
We encourage local people, businesses and organisations to have meaningful involvement in the development of their local area. Our teams of specialists are experienced in getting people to speak out, taking on-board their views and translating these into positive changes.
Our Community Environment Team is a diverse team working, across three key areas: Education and Youth; Health, and Community and Environment. We work in partnership with neighbourhoods and agencies to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds and empower communities to make positive changes to their environment and their lives.
Location: Amber Valley and Erewash This is an ongoing project which involves managing nature reserves and green spaces and getting local people involved in supporting natural heritage.
Location: Derby and Derbyshire We run a variety of community food projects throughout Derby and Derbyshire designed to encourage healthy eating and growing your own produce.
Location: Derby and Derbyshire Establishing walking groups to bring people together and encourage a healthy and active lifestyle.
