Location: St Anns, Nottingham The capital works project has seen the restoration of the basic infrastructure, including: enhancing the heritage value and access to the site through improvements and upgrading
Location: Hyson Green, Nottingham Groundwork Greater Nottingham was employed to work in partnership with the local residents association (BOBS) to regenerate and improve the existing park
Location: Basford, Nottingham Chard Street Park was a pocket park in Basford which had fallen into disrepair and was in a poor condition
Location: Lees Hill Street, Sneinton, Nottingham The site was small, challenging and suffered from anti-social behaviour. Consultation took place which enabled local children and residents to be involved
Location: Nottingham Play Rangers run several after school sessions, where local children can engage in either active play, such as basketball or playing on an adventure playground to more creative and art based activities such as colouring, painting and card making.
Location: Nottingham This project involved teaching local Nottingham schoolchildren about the history of the tram and other public transport.
Location: Eastwood, Nottinghamshire This community scheme involved creating a new park for residents from Scargill Walk and Hopkin’s Court. These were public open spaces which suffered from vandalism, grafitti and anti-social behaviour.
Location: Hyson Green, Nottingham Primary school children are learning about gardening, the environment and healthy eating with hands-on lessons on their school allotment.
Location: Hyson Green, Nottingham Waterloo Promenade is a historic tree-lined promenade which dates back to the 1900’s
Location: Nottingham Young people from Asylum Seeking and refugee status backgrounds worked together in the creation of a film relating to their lives.
