Inspiring People - Youth Development

We believe that young people are part of the solution to improving disadvantaged areas. We help them to participate in their local communities and provide a range of positive activities, building confidence and self-esteem.

Our dedicated youth team identifies and delivers projects that initially engage young people most distant from mainstream services to supporting them in shaping the development of their local area. These projects help to reduce anti social behaviour and develop an appreciation of the environment, and the heritage and history of their area.

Our alternative curriculum programme for schools supports ‘at risk’ young people, providing them with positive experiences and building the skills that will allow them to move forwards with education or training.

We are developing our specialism in reducing anti social behaviour by facilitating young people to be voices for the communities. 

We currently work across the City and County and it is our aim for young people to become leaders of tomorrow this is why we invest in creating routes fro progression, accrediting their work providing volunteering and ambassadorial roles and supporting young people into jobs with training, and or benefitting from educational opportunities.
