Groundwork Greater Nottingham is passionate about ensuring that we are truly representative of the aims and aspirations of the communities in which we live and serve. Our aim is to inspire our communities to become sustainable by working creatively, holistically and inclusively in partnership with groups, individuals, organisations and businesses to improve the local environment and contribute to economic and social regeneration.
We are committed to achieving full BS8555 certification for environmental quality standards and to meet or surpass all applicable legislation and other requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the community and the environment.
We incorporate high standards of health, safety and welfare management in all that we do and recognise all our responsibilities to our staff and the people they work with in accordance with The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and other applicable legislation.
We are a Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) Contractor, meaning our standards are accredited to win work from the private and public sector.
