How to get in touch with our team
Through our work we improve people’s health both directly and indirectly. We run specific initiatives such as walking schemes, but much of our work helping to improve lives in disadvantaged communities affects the wider determinants of health.
We’ve found that encouraging people to value, use and improve open spaces is one of the most effective ways of kick-starting a revival in the fortunes of damaged communities and also helping people adopt healthier lifestyles.
Our Bikes 4 All scheme provides disadvantaged children and adults with bikes, training and activities to encourage them to get fit and protect the environment by cycling to work or school. We also run thriving allotment sites across the county to encourage people of all ages to get outdoors and grow their own food.
Improving mental wellbeing is a major outcome of many of our youth and employment programmes.
Our connections within communities and our ability to work holistically across sectors means we’re an important partner for many Primary Care Trusts and other NHS organisations.
