We take practical action to tackle climate change – and we recognise that by doing so we can also reduce fuel poverty and help business be more efficient.
Businesses can benefit from environmental advice and support to reduce their carbon footprint, reduce landfill costs by recycling, and save money by changing to renewable energy sources.
The EcoHouse, our internationally renowned environmental showhome, demonstrates hundreds of environmental features and ideas, inspiring and encouraging visitors to make green changes to their own homes and gardens.
Out in the community, we help to change behaviours and limit personal environmental impacts. We offer recycling advice, healthy eating initiatives, information on improving the energy efficiency of homes and using renewable energy technologies and cycling training and support to get you on your bike.
Two major initiatives we're involved in are the Environment City and Leicestershire Investment Fund for the Environment (LIFE)
Location: Schools are working towards an internationally recognised accreditation for environmental standards and pupils are leading the way on projects to improve their schools grounds and buildings.
