Groundwork Leicester and Leicestershire are offering an exciting training opportunity for people in Leicester. The project offers training to City residents who want to move into the renewable energy sector, specifically solar panel fitting.
There are 2 pathways on offer and include a basic course to allow trainees with little or no experience to gain qualifications like CSCS construction card PASMA scaffolding and an introduction into renewable energy. The course also offers on site work experience fitting solar panels with qualified installs. The second course is for qualified electricians and offers them the chance to build on existing skills. Trainees on this course will become accredited to install solar panels.
The courses are rolling and each runs for 3 weeks.
