How to get in touch with our team
Through our work we improve people’s health both directly and indirectly and many of our projects help people in disadvantaged communities and support the wider health agenda.
We’ve found that encouraging people to value, use and improve open spaces is one of the most effective ways of kick-starting a revival in the fortunes of damaged communities and also helping people adopt healthier lifestyles.
The Trust has developed a Beacon Green Healthy Neighbourhoods Programme which has been launched in a small number of communities. This programme promotes health and wellbeing and brings together existing sport and health activities, with taster sessions and events, and innovative green health ideas such as green gyms and trim trails.
Groundwork Lincolnshire is involved in a range of sports and fitness projects including Lincolnshire Walks Forum, healthy eating programmes, sports activities for young people and a cardiac rehabilitation class in Kirton.
Improving mental wellbeing is a major outcome of many of our youth and employment programmes.
Our connections within communities and our ability to work holistically across sectors means we’re an important partner for many Primary Care Trusts and other NHS organisations.
