Who We Are

Groundwork Lincolnshire is an environmental and economic development Trust, helping people and organisations make changes in order to create better neighbourhoods, to build skills and job prospects, and to live and work in a greener way.

We support communities, individuals and business throughout Lincolnshire to address environmental, economic and social issues by creating projects and services that benefit both people and the environment.

Our activities have a strong emphasis on local partnership working with statutory agencies, businesses, and voluntary and community organisations to make sure that solutions are sustainable and tailored to specific community needs.

Improving the local environment, green capacity building, regeneration and neighbourhood development are some of the ways we can help and encourage communities to maximise opportunities for economic growth and green development.

The organisation is an independent local charity, social enterprise and development trust. We operate across East Lindsey, West Lindsey, North Kesteven, South Kesteven, City of Lincoln, South Holland and Boston Borough in Lincolnshire, and work on dozens of individual projects each year. We focus our activity on disadvantaged communities where we can make most difference using a combination of service provision, network activity, research and consultancy.
